On October 2nd, I attended the launch of Redwood Coast Connect a project whose ultimate goal is to provide broadband access to everyone in the four county area including Mendocino, Humboldt, Del Norte, and Trinity counties. The project has received $500,000 in funding from the California Emerging Technology Fund and the Humboldt Area Foundation. I'm encouraging everyone in the four county area to participate in the study of broadband in the four county area. You can ask to be a part of the study by going to the Contact Redwood Coast Connect signup page.
